         
DIRECTIONS
 The inlet is located less than 30 minutes south of Daytona Beach and one hour and 15 minutes drive to Epcot Center, Disney World, Univeral Studios and Sea World. The Inlet can be accessed through either Orlando, Sanford, or Daytona airports. The local area also offers many fine golf courses, dining, and local events.
Traveling by air, New Smyrna Beach is approximately:
- 25 minutes form Daytona Beach International Airport
- 45 minutes from Orlando Sanford Airport
- 70 minutes from Orlando International Airport
Three private airports service the NSB area:
- New Smyrna beach Municipal Airport
- Spruce Creek Fly In
- Massey Ranch Air Park

Access State Road 44 East to New Smyrna Beach via:
I-95 South, exit 249A
I-95 North, exit 249
Interstate 4 East, exit 118

Follow Rt. 44 E. toward NSB and Rt. A1A. At the beginning of the second causeway 44E becomes A1A (Bert Fish Medical Center on your right). At the end of the second causeway, look for a sign to Bouchelle Island Blvd., quickly get into the left lane. the next set of lights (about 500 yards from Bouchelle) is South Peninsula Ave. Go left on South Peninsula (South Peninsula will magically change to North Peninsula). At about 3 miles, there is a STOP sign (there are two other stop signs and a traffic light on Peninsula). At the third STOP sign, there is a sign for "The Inlet". Turn right on Minorca Beach Way to security gate control. At the control panel, key in 051 to reach the office. After 5pm, key in 052 to reach the guard. You will be let in.
